The McNut Building

At first, I didn’t get it.

Every now and again, I wander over to Metro Mode, because it is a sharply designed Web site with originally sourced news stories that are all about innovation and success in Metro Detroit. They’ve got a Farmington section with a cool picture of the Civic, and I found an article that referenced construction on something call “The McNut building.”

Well, I’d never heard of the McNut building, but as I read on, I saw that it was a short piece about the new facade going onto the front of the former Books Abound building.

Bought by Farmington city councilwoman Joanne McShane. And her husband, Will Nutting.

The McNut building. Makes perfect sense.

  1. Sounds like a new product from the golden arches place.

Or, a discount mental health facility…

‘Cause, sometimes you feel like a McNut.
