Those crazy kids from Visibles who brought you the award-winning Farmington Streetscape bond election video are back.
On May 20 at the Farmington Civic Theatre, they’ll premiere a guide to this year’s streetscape construction season. Videotaping is underway, and you might spot a crew working at Ginger’s Cafe on Grand River just east of the Downtown Business Center tomorrow morning at 8:30.
(In the interests of full disclosure, that’ll be my husband behind the camera.)
As reported in Sunday’s Farmington Observer and with less detail today’s Detroit Free Press, initial work began on the project this week. A ceremonial groundbreaking is scheduled for 10 a.m., Saturday May 16. This year’s theme, based on the current edition of The Main Street Messenger, which arrived today, is “IT’S HAPPENING!”.
Boy, is it ever.
