Hills mysteries solved – or so I think

Overheard, but not yet verified, a Walgreen’s may be going into the southwest corner of 13 Mile and Orchard Lake, where they tore down a gas station not too long ago.

At tonight’s Farmington HIlls Planning Commission meeting, Christopher McRae mentioned something that explained all the heavy machinery I’ve seen around the old Staples building on Orchard Lake Road (next to Panda Buffet). Apparently, it’s going to be an ABC Warehouse.

I also wondered what happened to Robert Mason after Michael Bridges replaced him on City Council. Mr. Mason’s extensive background, knowledge and talents are being utilized by the Planning Commission. And considering what he must already know about the Commission’s activities over the past few months, I now admire his bravery, as well.
