As I was driving home from work on Shiawassee today, a miracle bloomed just east of that odd little jog Farmington Road makes near Shiawassee Park. Along the sidewalk, an abundantly health hibiscus bush has produced gorgeous red trumpets. Next to it, a tall stand of bright Black-Eyed Susans added another splash of color. I am also quite fond of the front-yard garden at a neighbor’s house on Farmington Road, just south of Shiawassee, and our downstairs neighbor has quite the green thumb, based on the number of blossoms and sheer volume of greenery on the front porch.
Any other spectacular gardens lurking in Farmington neighborhoods?
