Congratulations to Farmington Hills native Samantha Steckloff, who finished in the 2nd runner-up spot in tonight’s Miss MIchigan pageant! This was the final year in which she could compete; at 24, she is ”aging out” of the system.
Miss Michigan 2008 is Ashlee Baracy of Westland, running this year as Miss Wayne County. This was her third pageant appearance. First runner-up is Tiffany Griffin, 23, Buchanan, Miss Capital City; 3rd runner-up is Alicia Jaros, 22, Riverview, Miss Washtenaw County; 4th runner-up, Allison Porrett, 20, Port Huron, Miss Kalamazoo County.
Miss Teen Michigan 2008 was also crowned. Carleigh Corrion-Rowley, 14, sponsored by Oakland County is from Essexville.
