The Vote Yes movement

The Vote Yes on Proposal 1 campaign kicked off at John Cowley and Sons last night. Reports from the event indicate a large turnout, enough to crowd the restaurant’s first floor. Yard signs have begun to appear, and rumor has it the group anticipates putting out about 500 of them.

I have heard the political candidate with the most yard signs wins. But streetscape opponent Hank Borgman has his own form of political literature, a quarter-folded newsletter he writes, designs and distributes freely around town. Tough to figure in the impact of “Hank Notes” on this campaign…

Oh “No!” More signs to clutter our beautiful environment! That’s almost as bad as more concrete. But did you catch the pun Joni? Hank Borgman has more than a HankNote, he has his hand, remember? It seems to me that the Yes people are suffering more from an every day movement, if you know what I mean.

So what say you Mrs. Woman Blogger….are you going to accept my invitation to articulate and debate the facts – as YOU see them?

I really like this site by the way. A good look and feel.
