They seem to be willing to incorporate “slash and burn” tactics in order to win – maybe because they know they can’t defend their contentions rationally?

I saw that “citizens against” letter. Unbelievable (sort of) that that paper would run an unsigned letter like that one. I think it’s a single individual’s attempt to make oppostion look more significant than it is.
